Our recent work 'Hydrosulfonylation of Alkenes with Sulfonyl Chlorides under Visible Light Activation' was highlighted in a peer-reviewed article 'Easy Access to Aliphatic Sulfonamides using Sulfamoyl Chlorides Under Visible Light Activation'
UNIQ 2020: Alongside other Oxford chemists VG group member Joseph Ford was involved in the development and delivery of a kitchen chemistry workshop, based on the chemistry of turmeric. Joe helped deliver a session on chirality to the year 12s and provided support to the students in the online forum. It was a unique UNIQ experience this year, with the Department delivering a remote academic programme via Teams. Well done Joe!
